How To: Stay On Top Of Tasks, Blogging and Youtube

It's Beth here and the summer holidays are officially over - which means more work. Unfortunately, it's time to get that piece of paper in your planner covered in homework which we need to do for the following week, along with filming, editing and uploading videos, making sure our blogs are up to scratch and the best they can be, and the main thing having some time to chill and socialise with our favourites.

My number one tip for all of you sitting GCSE's in this upcoming year is to stay organised and don't let everything hide away in your drawers until the night before the due date.

We've all got a lot of things which need doing every day, however there just aren't enough hours in a day to achieve them, therefore I've found things which help keep me on track.

I can not stress enough how much calendars and to do lists are useful. Whether it's a to do list on your phone, paper or laptop - it is a perfect way of making sure everything you need to do gets done. Personally I like the old school way and having all of my jobs on paper. My to-do lists are my best friends because I'm a sucker for putting pen to paper. Something which I should do is prioritise the most important tasks and put the at the top of the list. You can then easily see what you need to do before getting distracted by something more entertaining.

If you prefer a more technical one, a perfect app is Any.Do, your to-do list can also be seen on your computer. It's easy to use, easy to read and easy to get your job's done!
A bad habit which I have is that I want everything done at the same time and all at once, but that can never happen. I never think about waiting to do the least important last, until I am overloaded with things to do. Like I said I don't prioritise my work, which is bad because I don't benefit from it and it makes me very, very stressed!

Something which I always tell myself is that "I can't do this because I don't have enough time". But really I do... I just need to use it wisely. No matter how much we want the days to slow down, they never will and not another hour will be added, so we have to deal with it and make the most of what time we do have.

What's your most preferred way of doing to-do lists?

Thank you so much for reading, see you next Wednesday.

Love, B.B.B x
