Christmas Gift Wrap 2015

Hooray... Christmas has been (unfortunately it is now over for another year). One of my favourite things about the Christmas build up is wrapping all of my friends and family presents. This year I decided to go plain but very effective and cute: the classic brown paper with bows and ribbons.

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas: spending time with your family, eating too much delicious food and giving and receiving presents.

BBB Beauty: Sun-Kissed Style

Sun Kissed Style: Bronzer- Here's how to use bronzer for an instant glow

Choosing your bronzer:

For a natural tanned effect, I would recommend choosing a bronzer without added shine or any glitter. There is a huge range of shades out there so it is important that you experiment with testers until you eventually find the right one to suit your skin tone.

Which shade is the best one for me?

You need to choose a colour that's only a couple of shades deeper than your skin tone. If you have fair skin - pale and prone to sunburn - peachy or pinky bronzers work the best for you. I recommend copper for anyone with olive skin, while the rich bronze shades are perfect for darker skin tones. Definitely avoid the orange tones.

Should you consider your skin types?

When choosing your skin type you should consider what your skin type is. If it is combination, oily or normal then I suggest you go for a powder-based bronzer. Cream or gel-based products are great for drier skin types.

How should I apply bronzer?

Powder bronzers: Use a fluffy powder brush. Begin by dipping the brush into the bronzer and then tapping off the excess product onto the back of your hand. Dust the powder over the areas where you catch the sun - cheeks, forehead, chin and the bridge of your nose. Make sure you blend it in well. Build the colour up a little at a time.

Cream powder: I would recommend using your fingers to blend in creams. Dot it onto your cheeks and blend in using circular motions. Work the colour up towards your hairline Very lightly, dab any excess colour from your fingers onto the bridge of your nose, forehead and brow bones to warm the tone of your face.

DECEMBER GOALS

It's finally one of the best months of the year because... Christmas is here! *excited dance* I also find Christmas is the best time for blogging and YouTube because everyone's post are very inspiring and everyone seems to be so happy and festive - it's such a great community to be a part of.

The last couple of months I have been feeling a lack of motivation to blog and if you are subscribed to me on YouTube then you will have noticed I haven't been uploading videos, so I thought if I set myself a few goals for the last month of 2015 then I will be heading for the right track in 2016.

December Goals

     1) Be more proactive

This side of me has been hiding a little as a lack of motivation and energy, therefore for the festive month I will: Invite my friends over. Go out to town (you don't always have to buy things). Do things I ENJOY rather than doing things to please others. Stop scrolling through social media endless amounts of time and get out and see the cute christmas markets and festive activities.

     2) Be creative every day

Whether this is taking photos for my blog, baking some christmas treats, putting photos in my scrapbook or snapping polaroids with my friends, I think having some creativity each day is the secret to keep your inspiration and motivation.

     3) Spoil my family with Christmas Presents

Although I don't work because of my age, it doesn't mean I can't buy them anything at all. Even if mum doesn't get her designer bag and dad doesn't get his TV, I can still afford cheap presents which they will love as much as the more expensive presents (well maybe they'd prefer a TV but...)

     4) Buy a christmas cup

Honestly, I am a typical white girl when it comes to them costa christmas cups.

What's your December goal this year?

Thank you so much reading, I hope you all have the best Christmas.
I will see you Sunday with another post.
