Friday's Fabulous Manicure

The sun is actually out today, what?! Today I felt very summery, so I was in need of a new colour, to replace to chipped winter shade.

As its summer and cute nails are a must, I thought I would share what's on my nails today and how I take good care of them to keep them in great condition!

After I remove my old nail polish, I will wash my hands and use some hand and nail cream. When I start painting my nails and use lots of products on them, I find they become very brittle and dehydrated! Using hand cream which I massage into my cuticles really helps them to become hydrated again and feeling very smooth.

I will choose an nail polish depending on what I'm wearing. Today, I chose to go for a lovely lilac and it's gorgeous! The quality is also amazing so I'm totally in love with this nail polish.

I would love to have long and strong nails, but unfortunately I don't, so I try to make this happen but it doesn't really work because I don't always do this step because I always forget. I will use the China Glaze Nail Strengthener & Growth Formula.

What's your favourite nail polish colour for the Summer?

Thank you so much for reading, see you Tuesday.

What I Pack For Holiday, Printable Checklist & Tips | #bbbinamerica

It's Beth here and as I am jetting off in a week to America, I am going to have to start organising my clothes and start to think about the packing essentials.

The worst thing about travelling for me is realising that I've left something at home while I am a few hours away (flying)! Especially as our flight this year consists of over 10 hours - packing is even more important than all of our previous holidays. In order for me not to miss out anything, I've gone into deep research to make sure every thing is onto a list, ready to go into my case. So, I have researched about 957 different checklists on Pinterest, blogs, looked up personalised websites, downloaded apps and watched YouTube videos - basically every way of finding out all the essentials.

To save you stressing out like I am, I thought I would create a checklist for you to print out and all you need to do is tick of each item as you place them into your case.

Travel and Home Preparations: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1N7HhuiFjY0bXPXG67awJmW4DICWv5YO0AH62lzFjU_I/edit

Toiletries and Clothing: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17M3TLs8qDSlSjnrFN_rzVEsFD5cb6PXIBUybJkf_evc/edit

Shoes, Technology and Carry On Essentials: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jc8sLxicWO7IFdtTvZ1r0k1twRX4VNApu_pUTUMVKRY/edit

Along with a checklist of what you need to pack, I have got a few tips to share as well. I have got so many which help me, I will be saying them in my YouTube video, so on here I will only share my top 5 with you.

  1. Wear you bulkiest/biggest clothes and shoes on the plane, so it's less of your luggage allowance.
  2. Pack all of your valuables in your hand luggage, JUST in case something happens to your suitcase.
  3. Pack breakables inside your shoes, they will have less chance of breaking.
  4. Lay out your outfits before you pack, so you can see whether the outfits match or not.
  5. Put tape around the lid of capped beauty products inside a clear bag. You don't want them to leak everywhere!

Thank you so much for reading, see you next Wednesday.

What's In My Makeup Bag? Summer Holiday | #bbbinamerica

It's Beth here and you probably all know by now but in a few weeks I'm going to be exploring the city of Spokane. Not only should this post help you if you're jetting away someone, but it is going to help me know what makeup to quickly throw into my makeup bag, the night before we fly, without getting me stressed out.

This holiday which is approaching super quick, isn't our annual beach holiday, it's more of a tourist trip away. We are staying with friends who live out there and spending just over 2 weeks with them, and we're going to be doing tonnes of fun things. Mainly, we will be travelling around which is my favourite thing to do and exploring new places. As I won't be spending every day at a beach and around the pool, I will be taking more makeup with me, as we will only have a few "chill days" around their pool and visiting the different beaches and lakes around the area.

When it comes to packing I love it and get carried away with sectioning different products to make sure I can fill up the maximum space of luggage and make it really easy to unpack when we get to the other side. So, I usually only take one makeup bag and use the others for hair, suncream and skin care products, etc.. However, where I am probably going to be wearing makeup for the majority of the holiday, I am going to take different makeup bags. One is going to be for lipsticks and the other for face and eye products.

This makeup bag is a new purchase and it was £2.99 from good old' H&M. I am obsessed with it, I love the vibrant pink for summer and I love how I can see though it when it isn't clear. I am taking several lippies with me abroad, so I am going to vary the colours and try and take minimum amounts.

In my favourite makeup bag, the Zoella eyes beauty bag, I am taking products for my face and eyes, along with a few essential makeup brushes, because this bag is quite heavy (for a makeup bag anyway), and especially when you have brushes and big packaging like foundation bottles, etc..

Inside my travel bags is every thing which is travelling to America with me. The makeup products which are in my Zoella bag are:

Products:
- Benefit High Beam,
- Benefit Roller Lash,
- Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation 'Vanilla',
- Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer 'Fair 1',
- Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
- MUA Bronze & Sculpt Contour Kit 'Light/Medium'
- MUA Pressed Power 'Shade 2'

Brushes:
- Avon Eyelash and Eyebrow Comb
- e.l.f professional Total Face Brush
- Real Techniques Domed Shadow Brush
- Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
- Real Techniques Multi Task Brush
- Eyelash curlers

Lipsticks:
- Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick 19
- Carmex Strawberry Moisturising Lip Balm
- Clinque Chubby Stick '06 Woppin' Watermelon'
- EOS Lip Balm Strawberry Sorbet
- MAC Lipstick Peach Blossom
- MAC Lipstick Please Me
- Maybelline Baby Lips Hydrate
- MUA Lipstick Shade 14 BARE
- MUA Lipstick Shade 16 NECTAR
- Nivea Pearly Shine Lip Balm
- Rimmel Apocalips 102 Nova

The Happiness Tag

It's Beth here and if you are subscribed to my YouTube or watch my videos then you would of seen my 'The Happiness Tag' video. I thought I would post a post about it to.

Question 1) What food makes you happy?

The food which most makes me happy is definitely fruit. I love fruit so much, but my favourite is 100% melon: watermelon, honeydew melon, any melon!

Question 2) What movie makes you happy?

This is a tough one because I can't choose between my favourite ones, but I would say that LOL always cheers me up and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging does as well.

Question 3) What song makes you happy?

The song which makes me happy depends on which one is my favourite at that moment in time, but that changes a lot, so I can't decide. I will have to say any One Direction song to be honest.

Question 4) What item of clothing makes you happy?

You probably know by now but it has to be my New Look crop tops (you probably already guessed that, ha!) But for Summer the whole item of clothing has got to be Playsuits.

Question 5) What is your happiest memory?

This is the hardest question for me because I had the most amazing memories but my favourite has got to be:

  • Christmas Day - waking up and spending the day with my family.
  • Holidays - Spending 2/3 weeks with my family having an amazing time and making A LOT of funny memories.
  • The day at Siam Park
  • A beach day in Tenerife - I will explain the story in my video, so keep an eye out for this video.
Question 6) What beauty products make you happy?

My MAC lipsticks, especially my Please Me one.

Question 7) What do you do to make yourself happier when you are down?

I like to have some time to myself and watch YouTube videos, listen to music, have a bath, take of my make up and pamper myself but my favourite thing to cheer me up is to speak to my friends.

Question 8) Name 3 random things that make you happy.

  1. Spending time with my family.
  2. Buying new makeup.
  3. Talking to my friends, even if that is texting them.
I tag Georgina from Aspiring Vlogs to do this tag and any one who wants to!

My Spring Morning Routine: Lazy Sunday

It's Beth here and this blog post is dedicated to the days where you have a whole list of things to achieve and at 9pm you suddenly realise that nothing has been ticked off your To Do List. So, as you can tell I am going to be telling you what I get up to in the mornings of preferably a Sunday, or if not a very lazy Saturday!

Featuring my first ever teddy - Pinky.

On a Saturday, I will wake up at around 9 / 9:30am and then I will grab my phone and check all of my social media's and just browse on my favourite apps for around 30 to 60 minutes, lazy I know! I will first of all go on BlogLovin and read all the blogs which I missed out on from the previous night and then once I am all caught up with them, I will go on We Heart It and add some more pretty photos to my collections. After 10 minutes of my B.B.B folder, I will check my Instagram and Twitter and reply to any of your mentions and like your photos. I will then watch a couple of YouTube videos from my subscriptions and then I will put on either Pretty Little Liars or Love Island if I haven't seen them from the night before or the Wednesday (in PLL's case). Once I have been through my social folder repeatedly and replied to my friend's messages, I will grab my dressing gown and head into the bathroom.

I will go to the toilet quickly, wash my hands and rinse my face using my holy grail skin care product which is the Clinque Facial Soap and then I will brush my teeth. I now have my braces off so it is so much easier to brush them, and doesn't take about 10 minutes!

Once I am out of the bathroom I will go downstairs and eat a cereal bar, I have been loving Belvita's at the moment. I'll eat that while I am preparing the fruit for my smoothie and then I will blend that and usually I will just drink the smoothie from the cup which it is blended in but today I felt like it was a cute mug sorta day! This adorable little glass mason jar is from Tiger and was only £3, what a bargain...

After my tummy is full of the delicious fruit, I will run upstairs and hop into the shower, I look forward to showers on Sunday now because we have the best shower gel ever, I 100% recommend it. I will get out the shower and dry my hair and choose what lazy clothes I will be shoving on for the remaining of the afternoon doing nothing. When I am all comfortable in my clothes I will brush through my hair and either do nothing with it or put it up in a messy up do: a ponytail or a bun.

I will get PlayTube up on my phone and pop on a playlist ready to start the day in a good mood! The album I choose to listen to for the summer mornings, is usually my summer playlist which I made or the top 40. After my morning routine is complete I have the remaining part of the morning and rest of day to chill and do what ever I feel like doing on that day depending on my mood, which to be honest I feel like doing nothing.

I am planning on doing a video on this post over on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHX3HZCVc3xQDnpapMulQeQ
So keep on checking out for that because you may like it... I'm just saying! *cough cough* little self promotion there *cough cough*
